Which pay rates this schedule uses
General
Rates by role, for this schedule only
Leave a box empty to use the facility card. Your hourly rate is for our people who are not on the rate card; your call stipends replace the facility card's for anyone priced from it. The agency (locum) rate is set in the Premium labor box above for this site, or for the whole state on its tile in Settings, where the agency's bill rates for each state are kept.
Shift types
Every kind of shift on this schedule. Change what a shift counts as, who works it, its paid hours, or give it a rate. A rate used "if no other rate" fills gaps; "for everyone" replaces the rate card too.
People — who is ours, who is a locum, and a rate for anyone without one — are decided in Premium labor and Pay rates needed above for the schedules on this page, or for every schedule at once in Settings. One decision per person holds everywhere; a rate is per site.
Shifts that could not be priced
No rate for the role or the call on either card, and none set here. Counted, never guessed — and never shown as $0.
Rows not counted
Residents, vacation, post-call, off-site and orientation rows, and people set as not ours, are kept off the forecast. Change a shift type below if it should count.
How each shift is priced
- Who is ours. A name on the site's rate card is ours, at their own rate. A name on the Provider Staff Master is ours — full-time or PRN by its contract type. A name on neither is a locum: premium labor. Anyone can be set once on this page — ours full-time, ours PRN, a locum, or not ours (left out) — and it holds on every schedule. A row whose name is a placeholder ("Open", "TBD") is an open shift.
- Not ours — residents, vacation rows, post-call, off-site and orientation are left out, unless a shift type is set to count.
- A rate set for a shift type "for everyone" comes first.
- Call is a stipend, never hours: the clinician's own call item on the rate card (weekday or weekend, first or second), then your call stipend for the role, then the facility card's call stipend.
- Work — a salaried clinician's regular shifts are in their monthly pay; anyone else on the rate card at their base rate, hourly × the longer of the shift and its per-shift guarantee, or the per-shift amount.
- Ours, not on the rate card — a rate set here for the person, then for the shift type, then your hourly rate for the role, then the facility card's full-time or PRN rate.
- Locums — a rate set here for the person (the agency's rate), then for the shift type, then the locum hourly rate for the role; until one is set, the facility card's PRN rate, labelled as a floor.
- Salaried pay is counted once a month for every salaried clinician who appears on the schedule — once, however many of the chosen schedules they are on.
- Open shifts are priced at the facility card's PRN rate and left out of the totals unless you count them. Unpublished open rows count as open only up to the last day someone is scheduled — Connecteam repeats draft rows far past that.
Read-only against Connecteam and Monday: nothing is written to either. Save writes this page's rates, shift types and people to the Labor Forecast's own settings, which the pay run also prices from. Callback hours, last-minute incentives and anything else that reaches payroll by e-mail are not on the schedule, so they are not here. Pay beside a name is shown only to admins and owners of MOR or Payroll.
Premium labor across every scheduleOpen to check every site
Who is on each schedule over the dates chosen above (the next eight weeks when the dates are “as far as it is scheduled”), checked against the site's rate card and the Provider Staff Master. Anyone on neither is a locum — premium labor. Takes about a minute.
